Matt and Colter installed our home system one week ago. They arrived early, after calling to ensure it was okay, and went to work quickly and efficiently. A couple of things we were not told before we contracted. The reverse osmosis under the sink installs a new faucet/spout next to the kitchen faucet. We had them use our soap dispenser hole. The water will have air bubbles for a few days after the install. They make it look foggy, but the air escapes quickly after you fill a glass. The reverse osmosis tank clicks a bunch for the first day or so. Apparently it continues, but becomes very quiet. At first I worried that something was wrong, but Matt said it would get much quieter. He was right.
First sales process was easy - install date was what i chose. and when my schedule got complicated day of - they were able to accommodate me and push it back an hour or so. Matt and Colter were Great and professional, took care of all questions and make sure the experience was painless.
Installers Matt and Colter were on time, fast, friendly, and informative. Couldn't be happier I'm an engineer and a house builder, and this system looks pretty squared away. Normally I'd DYI it, but having this knocked out within days of pulling the trigger, is worth some extra cash to me. We have hard, well water. I'll check back to give a user's impressions.

Here’s How Reverse Osmosis Works:

  1. Household water is directed through a pre-filter for filtration to remove sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and particulate matter.
  2. The water is then forced, by pressure, through a semi-permeable membrane where a high percentage of the dissolved solids and other contaminants are rejected and flushed to the drain.
  3. A final polishing of the water is accomplished by an activated carbon absorption block filter removing tastes and odors. The water passes through this final filtering process immediately before going to the faucet whether it comes directly from the unit or from the storage tank.
  4. The automatic shut-off control shuts down the system when the storage tank is filled and water is not being drawn. This “demand production” feature conserves water by eliminating the constant running to the drain found in some units. The control also depressurizes the membrane when not in service extending the membrane life and reducing the need for maintenance of your reverse osmosis water purifier.

EcoWater Systems offers a broad range of reverse osmosis purification systems including the ERO R375, a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis filter. These products reduce substances such as chlorine taste, sediment, nitrates, lead, cysts, and detergents.
